If your colour scheme is very neutral think about how you can add splashes of colour, I like to look at nature or animals for natural inspiration of what colours work together well.

If you’ve got patterned upholstery, a colourful rug or pieces of artwork, pluck colours you like from the pattern and use them in cushions or other soft furnishings, together these colours will appear brighter and more prominent.
